Access and use of MyGazette is bound by these Terms and Conditions

This page constitutes the Terms and Conditions for using MyGazette.co.uk. Posting content is covered by these T&C's Read in full before making any posts as by using MyGazette you are legally bound on first use of the site. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions please do not access or use the site.

Use of MyGazette
1. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast or transmit, any content from this site without prior written permission from the author.

2. You agree to only use the site MyGazette for lawful purposes. This includes no obscene and offensive material and only post content that does not infringe the rights or civil liberties of anyone else.

Contributions to MyGazette
1. Where you are invited to add content to the MyGazette site whether it be text, photos, video, audio or graphics, you agree to grant MyGazette royalty free rights and free licence to use the material in any reasonable way. If you do not agree to grant MyGazette these rights then don't post your contribution.

2. By submitting your content to MyGazette you warrant that your contribution is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to MyGazette for publication as the above terms.

3. Also by submitting your content you warrant that your contribution is not defamatory and does not infringe any law. That the content remains your responsibility and MyGazette has the right to reclaim any legal fees, damages or other expenses incurred as a result of your content being posted on the site.

4. MyGazette has the right to remove any content it feels breaches any of the terms and conditions, and will monitor all posts for:

Any disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.

Any unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material.

Any spamming or off-topic material.

Any advertising other than community events deemed suitable as a news item.

Any content not in English language will be removed.

Any Links to other web site unless relevant to a story for further information related to the story (contact admin@mygazette.co.uk for information)

Any comments or guest book posts where the user details seem to be false, misleading or in breach of any other term

Complaints
Please send any complaints to complaints@mygazette.co.uk where a member of the team will look into your complaint, Please include the Title of the story you are complaining about along with the user name and date the story was posted as well of the details of your complaint.

All complaints are taken seriously and could result in the story being temporarily suspended until the complaint has been investigated. If the complaint is upheld the story will be permanently deleted and the author will be contacted via e-mail with the results of the complaint and a warning if necessary, this could lead to action being taken on the account of the author.

MyGazette reserves the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.

SECURITY
We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or any one else. Don't include any postal, e-mail or web addresses in posts; this includes any other contact information like telephone numbers or personal details, if you feel an address or telephone number helpful to others then contact admin@mygazette.co.uk and an administrator will add the information to the story if reasonable.

Under 16s
If you are under 16 years of age please obtain consent of a parent or guardian before taking part in any posts on the MyGazette site.

Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else i.e. Home Address, Telephone Number or E-Mail address.

The Law
You may not submit any defamatory or illegal material of any. This includes text, graphics, video or audio.
You agree to only submit materials which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarise, or infringe the rights of third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, publicity, personal or proprietary rights.
Contributing material with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly forbidden.
The views expressed on MyGazette are those of members of the public and are not necessarily those of MyGazette.

Breaches of Terms and Conditions
If you fail to abide by these terms and conditions when using the MyGazette services, you will be contacted by e-mail detailing the concerns about your conduct and why your content has been edited or removed. This will include a warning that any further violation of the rules may result in action being taken against your account.

Actions taken against accounts may include pre-moderation of any posts, where all posts will have to be approved by a member of the administration team before they are placed live on the system, alternatively temporary or permanent suspension of your account, removing your ability to participate in the MyGazette site.

As a result of a serious or repeated breach of conduct MyGazette may use the information held on you to stop further infringements, this may include informing your employer, school or e-mail provider about the infringements.

MyGazette reserves the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.

General
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
